The most common reason for not pursuing dreams is the lack of money. Many people strongly believe that limited financial resources make it impossible to implement their projects. What they don’t realize is that they can easily overcome this issue by applying new technologies, such as 3D printing. Such solution allows to enliven even the most unconventional ideas.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rx1s8IBsfqs The best proof of the above is the case of Michał Szydłowski, who created an electronic percussion using his Personal Fabricator ZMorph 2.0 S. By applying 3D printing technology Michał was able to create his dreamed instrument with relatively low time and financial resources. It took him about 16 h to complete the task. He used 1kg of PLA to print 3 drum triggers and 1 cymbal out. Each part of the kit was made with the singlehead plastic extruder 1.75mm.   Michał Szydłowski Michał is a graduate student of the Acoustic program at the Wroclaw University of Technology. The project that he’s presenting was created as a semester bachelor project. Hear the story of how the passion for music, 3D printing and a tight deadline made him create this unique home made digital drum-set.
