Hello MiniFactory Sorry it has been awhile since i last posted, but i have been busy getting ready for my next Comic-Con by building my Full Size Optimus Prime Costume.https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2791968 I've decided to build the largest Delta Printer. It stands 4'6" tall and 34" wide And will have a print area of 450x450x450 give or take 50 mm height. It is made out of 3/4" STEEL Square Tubing and all print jobs are 100% infil @ .1 or .2 layer, Depending on the location. You will need 40' or square tubing at $26 at local scrap yard You will need #8 self-drilling screws at 1'1/4, 3/4 and 1/2 inch. $6 a piece You will need 2 8'x1/8x1 inch aluminum strips for counter swap support. @ $10 a piece I am using 4 220x220 heat beds with their own 33amp power supply and 1 Power supply for the Board and Hotend. @ $14 on ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/12V-220X220mm-Aluminum-Board-Hot-Plate-Heatbed-Heat-Bed-For-3D-Printer-Reprap-ES/332509925559?trkparms=ao%3D1%26asc%3D51979%26meid%3Df390b373cefd4d23b696c7d255682d75%26pid%3D100705%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D1%26%26itm%3D332509925559&trksid=p2045573.c100705.m4780 I used Fireplace Mortar to glue the hot beds to a sheet of 20”x20” 3/16 aluminum sheet. You will need 5 standard 12 vdc relays: https://www.ebay.com/itm/6Pack-12V-30A-Fuse-Relay-Switch-Harness-Set-SPST-4Pin-14-AWG-Hot-Wires/253167690800?epid=0&hash=item3af1f86430:g:OMIAAOSwXedZw09k Each Relay will have its own fan to keep it cool, Depending on which relay you get your wiring will be different. The Magnetic Effector and Magnetic Carriages are from: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1584513/#files I’ve modified the Carrier Carriage rail to wrap around the ¾ in tubbing and not sway. You can use the exciting wheels from your Kossel 800 Delta. This is a build in progress so expect items to be added or removed.   I done this build to print the large items that my CoreXY printers couldn't print, plus i've read that magnet mounts make the walls and all around surface area smoother. Also i put my CoreXY printers to the test with my 405x305 delta, Same print jobs same specs, same infil and so on and the Delta printed the part in less time and smoother then the CoreXY. So I WIll be removeing all my CoreXY Printers and will be replacing them with Over Sized Deltas with Magnetic mount. Project Update 5-8-2018: I've added some more Pictures. Project Update 5-21-2018:I've added more pictures of the End Stops and Hotbed Mounts, along with some new Ramps 1.4 board/LCD. this LCD/Ramps holder came from : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1639786 Project Update 5-23-2018: I've added some pictures and new STL's of Fan mounts for each of the ABC/XYZ Towers. If you plan in using 1/4 plywood as the base as i did then the Nema 17 Fan covers will not work. These new Alt Bottoms with fan support can mount 40mm fans and keep motor cool during those long print jobs.

I just started printing april of 2017. Been a Cosplay peron for alot longer. I got into 3D Printing because i've spent weeks if not months building Comic-Con and Cosplay props. Since i got into 3D Printing i've made, designed and printed all my Comic-Con parts. I use to buy my 3D Printers from eBay. In fact my first 4 were from eBay. 1st TronXY x1 with a print bed of 150x150x150 2nd Tronxy P802a with a print bed of 220x220x300 3rd Kossel Delta with a print bed of 180x300 4th TronXY X3a with a print bed of 220x220x350 Home Made 5th Mega TronXY X1 with a print bed of 440x440x300 6th EX Delta with a print bed of 220x452 7th Mega EX Delta with a print bed of 405x305 8th Corexy 350x350x400 9th Corexy 400x400x400 My latest design the Mega EX Delta, prints faster and quiter then any of myother printers. When i made the Mega TronXY X1 i wanted a larger print bed so i could print my Comic-Con/Cosplay props. Turns out it printed very good, however it tock forever to print large items. so that is when i made the Mega EX Delta. I did a time test with the Mega TronXY X1 and my EX Delta, Same parts same infill same specs on both machines. and the Delta Printed item in 8 hours, The Mega TronXY X1 tock 18 hours. That is when i redesigned my Mega TronXY X1 into the Mega EX Delta printer.
