Joseph Lister, Baron Lister (1827-1912) was a surgeon who made numerous improvements to surgical technique, most notably renowned for the introduction of antiseptic methods which revolutionised the practice of surgery. This particular sculpture is a bronze copy made in 1922, from an original marble bust of 1913. It was sculpted by Sir Thomas Brock (1847-1922).   This object is part of "Scan The World". Scan the World is a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory, through which we are creating a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks and landmarks from across the globe for the public to access for free.
